Superb oil mounted on cardboard signed lower left L.CABAUSSEL
for Eloi Léon Joseph CABAUSSEL (1885-1956) painter born in Castres
Lyon school, member of the Salon des artistes Lyonnais from 1927 to 1945
titled on the back Provencal landscape in a superb Louis XVI style canal frame in solid and heavy wood (fir) stuccoed gilded with leaf
There are some gaps in the beads gilding touch-ups
The oil is in good condition we notice some visible stains on the photos possible cleaning
