Albert Thiry, born in Nice in 1932 in a family established in Vallauris, learned ceramics as an intern in different workshops, then frequented that of the Tapis Vert. Having married Pyot Gavaudan, born in 1933 in Eygalière, a student at the Arts Déco in Nice, and trained at the Giraud workshop in 1956, the couple started their own business in 1962. It will produce culinary and decorative pieces. Albert Thiry disappeared in 2009.
