Albert Thiry, born in Nice in 1932 in a family established in Vallauris, learned ceramics as a trainee in various workshops, then attended the Tapis Vert workshop. Having married Pyot Gavaudan, born in 1933 in Eygalière, a student at the Arts Deco in Nice, and trained at the Giraud workshop in 1956, the couple set up their own business in 1962. He will produce culinary and decorative pieces. Albert Thiry died in 2009.
