Montereau LEBEUF MILLET & Cie (1840-1875) earthenware dish allegorical stage decoration eagle and peacock

Sublime dish of the Faïencerie de Montereau by Lebeuf Millet & Cie production from 1840 to 1875
in the decoration of an ancient scene depicting an old man and a young woman with bare breasts on a bed draped in white below a pink hanging, a tapestry on the left decorated with fleur-de-lis, to the left of the lady a peacock making the wheel at the foot of the man an eagle, gilded net at the edge, burgundy marli with a garland of stylized fleurs-de-lys then a garland of golden circles
The general condition is good for this piece of more than 146 years, there is a slight wear of the decoration with marli, two tiny gins around the edge, a scratch on the belly of the young woman see the many photos below
