Sublime dish from the Faïencerie de Montereau by Lebeuf Millet & Cie production from 1840 to 1875
decorated with an ancient scene depicting an old man and a young woman with bare breasts on a bed draped in white below a pink hanging, a tapestry on the left decorated with a fleur-de-lis, on the left of the lady a peacock cartwheeling an eagle at the foot of the man, gilt fillet on the border, burgundy marli with a garland of stylized fleur-de-lis then a garland of gilt circles
The general condition is good for this piece of more than 146 years, there is a slight wear of the decoration on the edge, two tiny chips around the edge, a scratch on the belly of the young woman see the many photos below
